Schweppes Australia is a newly established company, with a big history.
Our story began in 1783 when Jacob Schweppe pioneered the remarkable process of capturing and bottling bubbles. Sixty-seven years later the Schweppes brand arrived in Australia, and in 1877 we built our first factory in Sydney. Today, Schweppes Australia continues to be a leading company in the Australian non-alcoholic beverage market.
In 2009, we became a wholly owned subsidiary of Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. and in September 2011, we began the next stage of our growth with the addition of the juice and water business of P&N Beverages, adding brands to our portfolio such as Extra Juicy, Glo, Pop Tops and Frantelle.
We employ about 1,800 great people across Australia, with manufacturing facilities in all mainland states. We manufacture, sell, distribute and market some of Australia’s most popular non-alcoholic beverage brands like Schweppes, SOLO, Cottee’s, Spring Valley, Extra Juicy, Glo, Pop Tops, Cool Ridge and Frantelle. We also manufacture and distribute Sunkist, Pepsi and Gatorade under licence.
